Utility charges are set and bills are sent by Connect St.Helena Ltd, a Utility company formed and wholly owned by the St.Helena Government. Prime Numbers has no influence on these prices and does not get involved with billing at all.

However, the current charges are set out here for your reference. 
Charges are made up of a combination of a standing Service charge per quarter 
(also called a meter rent), and a charge per unit used.

	Electricity units are kWH
	Water units are Cubic meters (except Commercial water, which is 1000 gallons)

These charges are current as from 1 April 2013

Electricity, charges per quarter (see Schedule)

• Up to 400 units: 21.2p per unit
• Then, up to 1000 units: 36.3p per unit
• Over 1000 units: 39.6p per unit

Water, charges per quarter (see Schedule)

• Up to 15 units: 86p per unit
• Over 15 units: £1.14 per unit
